Wonwoo Nam (南元佑)教授于1990年在加州大学洛杉矶分校(ULCA)获博士学位,1994年起至今,任梨花女子大学助理教授、副教授和教授,于2005年任杰出教授,2007年当选韩国科学院院士,2014年当选英国皇家化学会会士,被授予多项荣誉和奖项,比如韩国科学奖(韩国总统授予的最高荣誉)。Wonwoo Nam教授为国际知名生物无机领域专家,致力于血红素和非血红素金属酶的仿生催化研究,取得一系列具有国际影响力的独创性研究成果,发表400余篇高水平学术论文,包括Science (2 篇),Nature (1 篇), Nature Chem (4 篇),Nat. Rev. Chem (1 篇),Nature Commun. (2 篇) ,Acc. Chem. Res. (6 篇),J. Am. Chem. Soc. (100 篇) ,Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (30 篇),Chem. Sci. (17篇)。
主讲内容简介:
Dioxygen is essential in life processes, and enzymes activate dioxygen to carry out a variety of biological reactions. During the past decade, we have been studying the chemical and physical properties of various reactive intermediates in oxygenation reactions, such as high-valent iron(IV)- and manganes(V)-oxo complexes of heme and non-heme ligands in oxo-transfer and C-H activation reactions, non-heme metal-peroxo complexes in nucleophilic reactions, and non-heme metal-superoxo complexes in electrophilic reactions. The effects of supporting and axial ligands on structural and spectroscopic properties and reactivities of metal-oxygen adducts have been extensively investigated as well. In this presentation, I will present our recent results on the synthesis and structural and spectroscopic characterization of mononuclear nonheme metal-dioxygen intermediates as well as their reactivities in electrophilic and nucleophilic oxidation reactions.
