On March 5th afternoon, Dr. Masahiro Yamashita , a professor of Tohoku University in Japan gave a splendid report on Quantum Molecular Spintronics Based on Single-Molecule Magnets Composed of Multiple-Decker Phthalocyaninato Lanthanide(III) Complexes. During the seminar, he introduced the recent research progress in synthesis and application of Phthalocyaninato Lanthanide(III) Complexes. Professor Yamashita provided detailed reports about the synthesis and control of structures of Single-Molecule Magnets Composed of Multiple-Decker Phthalocyaninato Lanthanide(III) Complexes from both theory and practice in quantum molecular spintronics. Teachers and graduates of Jiangsu University were present at the lecture. After the meeting, professor Yamashita visited the Lab. Center of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Jiangsu University.
