Biography

Fields of research:

1. Development of efficient photocatalytic nanomaterials for hydrogen production and environment remediation.

2. Synthesis of thermoelectric nanomaterials and construction of functional device.

Platform and team introduction

Professor SHI's research team currently has 7 professors, 5 associate professors and young teachers, and more than 60 doctoral and master's students.The team has been devoted to the research of synergetic catalyst for hydrogen production, CO2 reduction and supercapacitorresearch. The research team has obtained a series of innovative achievements in recent years.Prof.SHI has undertaken more than 20 national or provincial level research projects, including National Natural Science Fund, Chinese-German Cooperation Research Project etc. He has published more than 300 SCI/EI papers and achieved over 30 invention patents of China. He has won the Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress of Jiangsu Province, the First Prize of Science and Technology of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry. He has also guided students to obtain 2 Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Jiangsu University.
