School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, founded in 2001, is a unique school in Jiangsu University. It has a group of well-experienced faculty and strong scientific research strength. The total value of scientific research equipment is 35 million RMB, the College has signed a long-term cooperation agreement with 20 enterprises, and with the universities from United States, Japan, Germany, New Zealand and other countries established friendly relations, the two sides send visiting scholars learning and communication and carry out international cooperation research. For international students, school of chemistry and chemical engineering now has two undergraduate majors of chemical engineering and process and chemistry, two graduate majors of chemical engineering and technology and chemistry, and a doctoral major of environmental science and engineering, of which chemical engineering and process is a specialty of Jiangsu University, and several courses are provincial and school-level excellent courses. And the college has enrolled many overseas students, most graduates have become the backbone of the enterprises.

 Our primary mission is to educate students through creation of fundamental knowledge and technologies in the chemistry and chemical engineering. Currently, our faculties are actively leading research into both traditional chemical and energy industries as well as new areas of application and innovation, such as, Catalysis Chemistry, Nanomaterials, Green Chemical Process, Electrochemistry, Interfacial Chemistry, Computational Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Bioinorganic Chemistry, Chemical Biology and Coordination Chemistry.
