To promote cultural exchange between Chinese and international students and enhance their understanding and appreciation of the profound cultural significance of the Dragon Boat Festival, the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Jiangsu University organized a themed cultural event titled "‌Exploring the Past and Present of the Dragon Boat Festival: Passing Down Culture Through Sachets‌" on May 28, 2025.

Centered around hands-on sachet-making activities, the event seamlessly blended educational content with fun, allowing participants to travel through millennia and experience the cultural charm and traditions of the Dragon Boat Festival. This further ignited interest and recognition among both Chinese and international students for China’s traditional festival culture.

The themed event "Exploring the Past and Present of the Dragon Boat Festival: Passing Down Culture Through Sachets" not only allowed students to experience the traditional customs and sachet-making skills of the festival firsthand but also enabled international students to feel the cultural inheritance and spiritual essence of the Chinese nation in the vibrant festive atmosphere.
