IMPORTANT NOTICE
Narcotic drugs including opium, heroin, methylaniline (ice), morphine, marijuana, cocaine and other narcotic and psychotropic substances are illegal according to China's regulations.
Manufacturing, using, storing or transporting narcotics are all accounted for punishments from public security.
China's anti-drug surveillance and implementations are very strict and highly penalized.
In not so serious cases, a person who takes or injects drugs with the detention of 10-15 days and may impose a fine of less than 2,000 yuan.
Depending on the seriousness of the case, more serious punishements will be implemented.
Smuggling, trafficking, transportation and manufacturing of more than one kilogram of opium, or more than 50 grams of heroin or methamphetamine or large amount of other drugs, may be sentenced to death if the circumstances are serious.
