On the morning of July 3rd, the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering held a symposium for non-party members and returned overseas young teachers. Zhou Guohua, Secretary of the Party Committee, Pan Jianming, Dean, Zhang Rongxian, Chairperson of the Trade Union, and representatives from various democratic parties and returned overseas young teachers attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zhou Guohua.

During the meeting, Dean Pan Jianming outlined the college's key initiatives for the first half of the year, covering teaching, research, and talent development. Attending non-CPC personnel and young faculty representatives fully acknowledged the college's significant achievements. They actively offered suggestions on enhancing students' professional competencies, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, as well as improving the management of research equipment and the retrofitting of fume hoods. Zhou Guohua and Pan Jianming listened attentively to the opinions and suggestions, responding on the spot to the concerns raised. They expressed hope that the non-CPC members and young faculty would continue to actively participate in college governance and contribute ideas with an ownership mindset. The college pledged to thoroughly review and actively incorporate the relevant suggestions, striving to secure all possible resources to jointly advance the college's high-quality development.
