Dear Students,

We would like to remind you of the super typhoon "BAVI" that is expected to landfall on China's Mainland (Eastern Coast) before 11th July. In Zhenjiang, the typhoon would cause strong wind above level 7, accompanied by heavy rain and lightning from 11th to 13th July. Please note that the wind could reach level 8-9 on 12th July.

However, the effects of the typhoon will start from night (July 10th) with sudden/strong wind and rain. Please make sure to bring your belongings inside from the balcony (plant pots, clothes or any other stuff) and close your windows.

- Please refrain from going outside or participating in any outdoor activities or gatherings during the typhoon.

- For your safety, please stay away from water sources, trees, billboards, electric poles, temporary structures and unstable objects.

- To avoid damage to your electrical appliances and chances of fire, please unplug all equipment in your dorm/house.

- At all times, please do not charge your electric bikes/batteries indoors.

- As power and water outages are possible during the typhoon, ensure your mobile devices are fully charged beforehand and stock up on drinking water and food.

Your personal safety is our primary concern. Please remain alert, monitor official weather channels, and follow all directives issued by your class teachers and request any help needed.
